The end of May was a turning point, for Saturn finally turned direct on
May 30 and Mars finally shifted out of Cancer where it was since October
2009. The heaviness of Saturn while it stationed before it turning
direct was stifling. As planets change directions from either retrograde
to direct, or direct to retrograde, they seem to stand still and it
takes a while before they begin to pick up speed and finally start to
function normally again. Stationing planets make for the most potent
events and their degrees that they make them station must be noted, for
if they are closely aspecting a natal planet in your chart the effects
will be monumental. The degrees that all the planets station at is

Saturn is stationed at 3-4 degrees Virgo and will begin to move on after
this month. Saturn rules business and this has really stifled many
businesses and may have even terminated many. Additionally, Saturn has
been opposing Jupiter, which can also cause delays and setbacks in the
business world. People feel stuck with no ambition or inspiration. This
will shift as Jupiter moves away from the exact opposition with Saturn.

Warning! Spoil Alert! Do not read this if you do not want to know
the ending to TV series “LOST.”
After contemplating about the
last and final episode of the TV show “LOST,” I had a very meaningful
revelation. Interestingly, I had not watched the show before but decided
with all the commotion I was going to watch it to see what the buzz was
about. I was not familiar with any of the characters and found it very
hard to follow. It continually jumped from one scene to the other with
no explanation of what was going on. I guess you really needed to see it
from the beginning to be able to follow it.

 The month of May is a huge turning point astrologically. With the sidereal zodiac used in Vedic astrology Jupiter will enter into Pisces on May 1st. Pisces is ruled by Jupiter and therefore gives Jupiter enormous strength. Jupiter is the planet of wealth, prosperity and freedom. Now that Jupiter is in Pisces it will aspect the other water signs. Jupiter aspecting the sign Cancer, the sign in which Jupiter is exalted, will bring growth and expansion in the area ruled by Cancer, which is real estate and family. This is exactly what our world needs, growth in home and family. This will bring a sense of security on all levels. The only deterrent in this placement is that Jupiter will be opposed by Saturn which can limit and restrict the expansive capacity of Jupiter.
Another pivotal event his month is Mars will finally leave the sign of Cancer where it has been since October 2009. Mars in Cancer has been the culprit of most of the economical downturn, particularly in the housing markets. Mars as the karaka for real estate, was in its sign of debilitation, meaning its weakest placement, and additionally it was retrograde during the worst part of the real estate standstill. When Mars turned direct in March the housing market began to change. As Mars leaves Cancer all areas ruled by Mars will improve. Areas Mars rules are real estate, siblings, matters of war, violence, courage and will power. All these areas are repressed in the sign of Cancer and retrograde. But, what will happen once Mars becomes stronger in more powerful signs?

In preparation for the 2010 Northwest Vedic Sciences Conference (www.vedicsciencesconference.com
), at which I will be teaching in Seattle in June, I have done
extensive research in the area of sudden wealth and rises in fortune and
compared this to extreme falls in fortune.
In this pursuit to uncover the planetary combinations that constitute
sudden rises I have discovered some specific details that will cause
these effects and the timing. I will be revealing my results of this

I just had an article come out today in the new National Council for
Geocosmic Research (NCGR) Journal. This is the biggest astrological
organization in the world. It is the winter issue of the Geocosmic
Journal, specifically "Lunar Nodes, Winter 2009."
The editor states in the magazine that the entire issue was inspired by
my article: “We won’t claim to have saved the best for last, but we will
confirm that this most instructive essay, inspired your editors to
devote an entire issue to the lunar nodes.”

though for the NCGR Journal it is renamed, “Wild Cards: Planetary

 This month Saturn will oppose Uranus for the 4th time since the fall of
2008. This opposition now occurs in the signs of Virgo/Pisces, Saturn is
in Virgo and Uranus is in Pisces. The last and final time these two
planets will oppose will be in July. This opposition involves rebellion
and social uprisings much as it did the last time over 40 years ago when
we had this opposition in the late 1960s. At that time Saturn was in
Pisces and Uranus was in Virgo. We will experience social unrest as we
had previously experienced. Interestingly enough Saturn in Virgo
involves health and healing which is the cause of such rebellion amongst
the American people. There is a very deep apprehension building within
the core of the masses of unsecure people with issues of anger and
hostility. An uncivilized revolution is taking place.
