Spiritual Insights This month Saturn will oppose Uranus for the 4th time since the fall of 2008. This opposition now occurs in the signs of Virgo/Pisces, Saturn is in Virgo and Uranus is in Pisces. The last and final time these two planets will oppose will be in July. This opposition involves rebellion and social uprisings much as it did the last time over 40 years ago when we had this opposition in the late 1960s. At that time Saturn was in Pisces and Uranus was in Virgo. We will experience social unrest as we had previously experienced. Interestingly enough Saturn in Virgo involves health and healing which is the cause of such rebellion amongst the American people. There is a very deep apprehension building within the core of the masses of unsecure people with issues of anger and hostility. An uncivilized revolution is taking place. From the prospects of what I am seeing as an astrologer I have to make a stance and say, stop all the political bickering and complaining. This country is about to go through a time of major transformation. It is up to us to be responsible and wake up. Taking sides as to your political agendas based on your outgrown beliefs only fuels the brewing fire. Remember, astrology predicts the trends and energies but we can change these trends with awareness and consciousness. Looking at the transits of Rahu and Pluto they will converge and conjunct onto the ascendant degree of the USA chart I use (around 8-9 degrees of Sagittarius). Also, transiting Ketu will soon conjunct the natal Sun in this chart. This can indicate loss for our leader. Additionally, this will oppose President Obama’s natal Venus which rules his 10th house which is his Presidency. This can destroy America! So we have to shift our consciousness to be above all this fighting. Do not become embroiled in political viewpoints. Know that the changes occurring are for the highest good and send love to all our leaders so they can direct our countries to prosper and heal. This is a major healing for planet earth. Trust and know the world is becoming a better place if we can change our anger and frustration to a place of peace and healing. The outer world is a reflection of our inner world. When you shift to a better place internally the outer world will reflect this. I have to say when I looked at the coming transits it actually took the wind out of me. Choose to compliment and find the good in those you oppose. If you can do this you will heal this mounting chaos in our country. Start with people in your life. If your partner or family members are not living up to your expectations then it is time to quit fault finding and blaming them for your unhappiness. You are magnetizing your problems by blaming others. I know you have heard this a million times, but remember we cannot change others but we can change ourselves. Here is a little trick I have found that really works. Look at those around you that you criticize and begin to see the good in them. I know maybe it is almost impossible to see how you are motivating them to be what you don’t like, but realize their actions are due to your blame. If you can look at the attributes you like in them and compliment them on their good then you will see a change. But if you are in a place of criticism and fault finding then they will continue to disappoint you. Essentially, you are creating the behaviors you don’t like in them through your attention to their faults. For if you see it in them, then it is within you because there is nothing outside of yourself. Until you experience personally what I am talking about you will not understand. You have to first want to change. If you are unhappy with your life in any way you must first look at yourself and ask how are you blaming others for the predicaments in your life. I am referring to your personal life and the people you blame for your circumstances. It is time to take back your power and claim that everything in your life is 100% your fault and you have the power to change it. You cannot look for others to do it for you. When you look for the good in those whom you blame currently you will be empowering yourself and them by this positive reinforcement. And if you cannot find good things to reinforce, then maybe you should not be in that relationship. But I am sure if you are living with someone you will find the good. This must come from your heart with true feelings of appreciation. Praise people. Speak words of kindness. Point out their good qualities and how successful they are. This will create a transformation in your life! This has transformed my life from a place fear and limitation to prosperity and wealth. Before I would hound my husband to take care of all the mounting bills we have with our restaurant and home. If he overlooked a bill I become angry and would rub it in. I would comment that any financial burden is was due to his irresponsibility which made him feel worse and more negative when things went wrong. And things will go wrong for everyone at some point. But these difficult events are simply opportunities to look deeper into ourselves to understand how we are creating the disharmony within our selves. For everything is a result of our own self-doing and is an opportunity to change and grow. My point is we cannot blame others for our problems. Because my husband was irresponsible with the finances I blamed him for a lot of the problems. Now I have come to terms with how much blame I was putting on him. I now thank him for all the nice things he does and is. He is a very kind man. He takes our son to school every morning and makes the morning coffee. He does handle all the bills, he buys all the food for the restaurant daily and sometimes answers my phone to schedule readings in my office. I began complimenting him on all the nice things he does instead of reminding him of anything he doesn’t do. The many aspects of our lives that had become unmanageable have become manageable and we are making progress with our business through looking at what is right instead of looking at what is wrong. In doing this in our own personal lives we will have an effect on our outside world, bringing peace and happiness to our world because we have peace and happiness in our own life. This is how you can effect and change the world by changing your own world. The world out there is into blaming everything and everybody else for their lack and unhappiness in their lives. It is time to become aware and conscious of what you are doing to create such lack and unhappiness by blaming others. There will always be challenges as indicated by the stars, but these challenges are getting us to look at different aspects of our lives and how we need to change to adapt to the new growth. We always look at change and growth as a challenge for it forces us into the unknown but once we make the shift we are always in a better place with more freedom and awareness. Never look back, for all past experiences are opportunities for progressive growth and we are continually growing to a better place always. Remember in the story in the bible, Lot’s wife became hard and crystallized (turned to stone) when she looked back. When you are always looking in the rear view mirror you will surely crash. This is a complicated time in our history as human beings for the opposition of Saturn and Uranus are forcing us to change. We have become fearful and hang on desperately to what we believe is our security. We are basing our security on our past beliefs of lack and limitation. Uranus brings new and exciting possibilities into our lives. We are part of a new birthing of a more expansive world full of new possibilities. This is what is on the other side of this great revolutionary time in which we live. Just as the late 1960’s brought about a new awareness, this time will do the same. Around 1967-69 there was the great explosion of Woodstock, amazing music, movies and we put a man on the Moon. Now we have movies like Avatar, the Internet explosion, social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube), medical discoveries and inventions that will change how we view our world. But more than anything I believe there is a new way of viewing our world through the eyes of spirituality and the higher awareness and consciousness I am advocating right now. People are finally waking up! The message is always the same, and has never changed since the beginning of time. When you hear it presented in a different way you sometimes believe you never heard this message before and it somehow opens your mind and you feel like you finally got it. Here Is My MessageThe main and most important aspect of our lives is spiritual growth. In all actuality it is the only purpose for our life. Therefore, everything in our lives is a result of our spiritual progress and growth. Our relationships, career, money, family, and health issues are a result of our spiritual growth. Problems of any kind are healed by our spiritual awakening. Lack of prosperity and wealth in life is a result of our unawareness of our purpose and connection to our Divine source. To heal these issues opens our lives to happiness, prosperity and freedom. All lack, limitation and fear are a result of the restrictions we have placed on our minds due to our past beliefs, conditioning, and resentments - an unknowing that we are Divinely connected. It is time for all of us to awaken to our Divine rights and heal the planet.To connect to our own Divinity, which will free us from the limitations and fear we must connect to the essence of God within ourselves. This is done through the heart. For the spirit of God resides within our very hearts. When we connect with our emotions to our heart energy and ask God to open us to the Divinity within us, we will feel peace and love. Opening the heart though prayer and meditation will heal all self-inflicted problems we perceive. This will invoke tears of emotion. Ask that you and everyone who has harmed you be forgiven. When you combine the essence of God contained within your heart with the emotion of compassionate love you will be completely and totally healed of any adverse human condition. You will then be moved to extend your love and service to others. This is our purpose on earth, for this is spiritual growth and why we are here. This will begin to heal your life of lack and fear and you will know you are healed on a soul level. Financial and money problems will not be an issue for you or anyone you touch. Remember to open your heart, forgive and connect on an emotional level, and all your problems will dissolve. To connect with your feelings and emotions will give your intentions power and bring the desired opportunity. Love is an emotion full of power to heal. This power is available in your heart. Give thanks, appreciation and praise for those in your life. Completely stop the complaining and blaming and you will dissolve all the perceived problems onto which you cling.  Click to enlarge. 04/13/2010 Sun changes sign into Aries This spikes the awareness for change and new beginnings. Action and forward movement begins to finalize laws and actions in motion. But, there are many other planetary energies that are involved, such as Mercury retrograde that will delay progress. 04/13/2010 Rahu aspects Venus (trine) Rahu and Venus can sometimes affect vehicles. I have noticed there are more problems with airplanes and crashes during these aspects. Take caution in your car and in any travel. Be aware Venus does rule over vehicles, all forms of transit, airplanes, trains, ships, and cars. Rahu can cause crashes or upsets. 04/14/2010 New Moon 0 degrees Aries, Ashwini nakshatra This new moon is incongruent to the other planets. It is square Mars, quincunx Saturn, Rahu aspects this New moon with Venus and Mercury creating a place of uncertainty and unfinished business. It feels like there is an impending doom and there seems to be no resolution to this uncomfortable feeling. 04/17/2010 Mercury turns retrograde 18 degrees Aries Aries is the progressive force that brings in fresh ideas, but sometimes Aries can be a bit head strong and inconsiderate of others’ viewpoints. This is a time that many decisions are put on hold and reviewed. There are many forces that are requiring a review and reassessment. As usual it is time to back up your computer and be aware that travel plans may go haywire. Make sure you read the fine print when signing any contracts. This can indicate restless, impulsive energy in the sign of Aries for Aries does not like to slow down and review anything. Don’t start new projects until Mercury is direct. This is a particularly bad retrograde period and will delay and cause problems in anything that has a beginning during this time. Mercury goes direct May 11th. 04/20/2010 Venus changes signs into Taurus This can bring a much-needed sense of peace and creativity into an environment of hostility. This can represent the beginning of peace treaties and compromises. 04/26/2010 Saturn opposed Uranus This is the rebellion and opposition that affects this entire period of time. This is a culmination point of great tension that will create great change and transformation. There will be powerful changes and social uprising during this time. Social unrest and disharmony will lead to the transformation and changes necessary to birth a new world. Remember there is always resistance before any tumultuous changes. 04/28/2010 Mercury conjunct Sun (combust) This is when the retrograde process is at its peak and will cause miscommunications, so be careful before you speak and be mindful as you work. 04/28/2010 Full Moon 14 degrees Libra, Swati nakshatra The full Moon brings to light all the work initiated during the new moon two weeks prior. Aries is the sign of new beginnings and the full moon in Libra confers a look at the social and political events and reactions. Libra is the sign of balance and working with relationships, which means there is a truce and we are working on balance instead of brute aggression to get things done.
