This is a very intense time globally. It seems there is a feeling of discomfort, where no one knows from where the relief will come and there seems to be no solutions to the vast array of problems. As above so below, the problems appearing in the world boil down to the problems within ourselves. The external world is a reflection of our internal world. Everyone I speak to is having a crisis of some kind. This is indeed because there is such an intense planetary configuration in the sky.
The grand cross (mutable for sidereal and cardinal for tropical) is forming in the sky for all of August and for the rest of the fall. This will have everyone on edge and high strung. There will be more occurrences of earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes and severe weather throughout the world. Anger and resentments surface causing great disruption for our planet. There will be more violent attacks and social uprisings. Uranus the planet of sudden change is opposing Saturn, manifesting social and racial strife as it did during the last opposition of these two great planets during the late 1960s. The racial uprising is occurring now across the boarders in the USA.
Pluto’s square with Saturn is occurring now where again there are the extremes of greed and money concerning the oil spill. Saturn and Pluto are in a hard aspect every nine years, square, opposition or conjunction. They will always involve a crisis of big money, control, manipulation and corruption at a deep level. Pluto rules monopolies, power and big money that take control of the masses. Nine years ago was 2001 where there was not only the attack of September 11th but also the manipulation of huge money with the corruption of money mongrels of Enron which made its money from generated power and oil. That was just as fraudulent as the corruption occurring now with British Petroleum.
As everything seems to be intensifying and exploding before our eyes we begin to wonder why are we here and why is there so much grief and trouble in this world. My answer is always the same and will always be the same no matter what time or era we are born into. That is we are here to awaken from this very real illusion. There is nothing outside of us causing all this pain and suffering. We are creating this vivid illusion with our beliefs and minds.
Our world is set on a certain set of beliefs that have been passed down throughout the ages. These beliefs are in our myths, religious stories, schools and corporate America. This law and order is actually controlling people through fear. In every area of our lives we have set rules that must be followed or you will suffer the consequences. If you don’t follow the laws in your community you can be put in jail and ultimately if you don’t follow God’s laws you will go to hell. It is no wonder we are all in a place where we are focusing on judgment and punishment. We bring this belief of judgment and punishment into our lives every day. You see there is a focus on the judgment and punishment instead of a focus on the natural tendency to want to do things right for the benefit of each other and mankind.
Mother Theresa put it so perfectly when she was asked if she would participate in a rally against war. She said, "No, but I will participate in a rally for peace." The law of attraction believes that what you are focusing on you will attract more of it. The Course in Miracles says, "God does not forgive you because God has never judged you, and to forgive you must have judged something was wrong."
All our laws are focusing on the negative aspect of our selves. Someone who is pure of thought and intentions will naturally be lead to do only good for themselves and others. So the next time you harshly judge anyone for anything you are actually doing so of yourself. If someone hurts you, and you wish that they would get their just punishment then you are really wishing the same upon yourself.
This is a new awakening of this powerful understanding that everything you see in your world you have created through your thoughts, and beliefs. All the suffering in this world is created by our harsh judgments and the necessity of punishment to teach the lessons. But harsh punishment never teaches anyone lessons, for they only build resentments and then become more obstinate and belligerent. Those who have spent time in prison never come out reformed and happy. Punishment makes people more resentful, and they want to strike back at society with more crimes.
My very poignant point here is every time we feel we have been treated unfairly we want some kind of justice. Even when your partner does something that makes you mad you retaliate by withholding something from them. In other words you will get back at them with some form of punishment. Much of this is subconscious, but we all do it because we have been conditioned throughout our lives that everything must be justified. This attitude breeds more injustices into our life, because the more we focus on injustice the more we will have. We even use the word karma as our means for punishment.
The world is one big massive belief of good verses bad and punishment for any wrong doing. It is everywhere, on television, radio, movies, and books. Also I don’t understand the fascination with violence, murder and corruption. As you watch TV scan the movies being played and you will see almost all of them involve murder, death and corruption. There is no wonder these movies are being played out in our so-called real world.
If you want a life of peace, joyfulness, and happiness then you must make that your focus. You must eliminate all judgments, resentments and anger of anyone if you want to live a life of happiness. You will understand there is no necessity for rules that confine people through fear. We must be motivated through love and caring encouragement. This is the world we seek and it is possible through always living with unconditional love and appreciation of everything on earth. Knowing everything always happens for a reason, even though we may not understand it now. We must know everything is growth producing and that is our purpose to grow and understand there is no punishment, or retribution, for there is nothing but the goodness and love. We are all finding our way to this realization, for we are not motivated through fear but we are motivated through love.
When viewing corruption and greed in worldly events that take place, do not get caught up in the need to see justice. Yes, this is our conditioning that evil needs punishment. But it is these exact feelings of retribution that feeds the world of crises and suffering. An example of excessive judgments and the need for justice and punishment is the focus the world had on gay people in the 1980s. This extreme judgment and the need for punishment produced the AIDS virus. Some condemned it as a just punishment God has cast on gay people. When in reality it was the intense feelings of guilt the mass consciousness placed on others that created this disease. It is so very sad that these individuals felt so persecuted by others that they brought this disease on to themselves. All disease is created initially through our emotional body. Now that there is acceptance the disease no longer kills, for now there is medication. My question is do we really want to hurt others so much as to wish suffering on them? As we wish for punishment to come to others for anything it will always come back to ourselves.
I believe the world is consumed with thoughts of money currently. Maybe it has always been consumed with money but not until lately has there been a mass consensus concerning the lack of money, and this has been affecting lives in a negative way. This is obvious with the current global economic crisis. But it is especially playing out in the corruption of the massive wealth and destruction with the BP oil spill.
Now we have the case of big money over oil and the injustice of those who are affected by the oil spill. If you find yourself consumed with the injustices in life, then know your life has injustices. Therefore, you will create more problems in your life. Our entire dynamic is based on rules that control through fear, and the end result is a world full of fear and chaos. We have to think outside the box here. Get out of thoughts of rules and punishment for this only leads to more punishment and suffering. If we focus on lack and limitations then that becomes our reality. Do not focus on the things over which you have no control. Mange your thoughts and you will change your world, which ultimately will change the problems you see globally. Remember the outside world is a reflection of your inner world and you can make a huge difference with this conscious awareness.

Venus is debilitated in Virgo meaning it is very weak. Venus rules relationships and love. This is not a good time to plan marriage, for there can be misunderstanding and the marriage will get off to the wrong start. It seems while Venus is in Virgo we become more critical of others, unable to accept and ignore the flaws that bug us. This does give us a chance to see our own intolerance therefore, an opportunity to recognize our own faults and change them. This is a T-square where Mars and Jupiter oppose, and Pluto is the focal point or the midpoint between both Mars and Jupiter. This is in mutable signs in the sidereal system, and in cardinal signs in the tropical system. Pluto concerns deep undercurrents that have been hidden and now rise to the surface revealing much deception. Mars and Pluto can represent violence and destruction, while Jupiter can make the events bigger. This can indicate hidden agendas pertaining to fighting and war.

This is an important aspect for Mercury is slowing down because it will soon turn retrograde. Exaggerated news will excite the public. The media is controlling the emotional climate of the public. The truth is being revealed which is very hard to accept for many so it creates a polarity and rebellion. This is a time of crises and revolution.

Venus, the planet for beauty and love is aspected by hard malefic planets. It seems there is no love in this world. Ruthless and mean people seem to go crazy. The tension is very intense globally.
08/09/2010 New Moon 23 degrees Cancer Ashlesha nakshatra
Ashlesha is a powerful and intense nakshatra. The symbol for Ashlesha is the serpent. This can represent hidden secrets that can be of a deceptive nature. On the positive side Ashlesha can represent healing, as the symbol of the American Medical Association (AMA) is a staff or rod with a snake curled around it. The staff (the rod) of Aesculapius (also called Asklepios), is the ancient mythical god of medicine. I believe it is the healing of some dark secrets and the realization of the truth will heal us individually and our planet.
Looking at the New Moon chart calculated for Washington, DC the Sun/Moon are in the 4th house of our land and home. Jupiter is aspecting this New Moon but since Jupiter is retrograde this aspect is not applying for it is moving the backwards. Jupiter is actually applying to Uranus. Jupiter and Uranus are in the 12th house indicating the hidden affairs of enemies of the USA. Mars, Saturn and Venus are in the 6th house, which represents open enemies. Both the 6th and 12th houses pertain to struggles and opposition, particularly pointing to some type of rebellion. Both houses have to do with accidents and social uprising. Rahu and Pluto in the 9th house opposing Ketu in the 3rd house indicate the manipulation of the media. This should be called propaganda. Since Jupiter is retrograde and Saturn is direct this opposition involves 2 planets applying to each other. This means they are sending their energy toward each other. This is powerful. The opposition will deal with opposing forces causing a standoff and striking polarity. There are many issues arising that seem to never get resolved.

This is a time where the President is blindsided. He does not know the depth of the reality of what is yet to come. The time approaching in the fall where Rahu/Ketu come together with Pluto in the nakshatra Mula, which is the point of the Galactic Center will be a huge shift. The Sun as the President opposing Neptune clouds his decisions. While at the same time of this aspect Mercury turns retrograde in the sign Leo and the Sun are both indicators of leadership or Presidents. There will a reversal in the trends and direction of current affairs. In other words we will be losing ground on any progress believed made previously. The popularity of the current leaders of our government will come under fire.

Where Mercury retrogrades tells where the focus of attention returns and therefore, there is something to be addressed concerning the sign placement as well as aspects to this important indicator of what needs to be learned during this time. Leo indicates our representation of leaders globally. Also the fact that Neptune opposes this retrograde Mercury will uncover deceptive forces occurring now. Neptune rules oil therefore the cover-ups concerning this BP oil crisis will finally be revealed. As always Mercury retrograde will have the usual effects of miscommunication, forgetfulness, losing things, computer problems, and travel problems, But on top of the retrograde process Mercury is also opposed by Neptune which will make this Mercury retrograde unusually worse. This will make us more forgetful so make lists and be extra cautious to avoid further frustration during this time.

The grand cross is forming now, and July 21st Saturn squared Pluto. This entire month and the rest of summer into the fall will have this groundbreaking configuration in the sky. This will produce earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and war. This is a time of revolution and transformational change for our planet.

The Full Moon is in Aquarius and close to Neptune surfacing the deception and deceit of the oil companies and the overall disastrous effects of this oil leak. It is also the disappointment with the government and that the people need to take back their control because there is no one out there that will save us.
