Out of so much change and disruption will come a New World. We are all coming out of a deep sleep and depression. This month new changes will initiate positive trends that will heal our planet. We are finding our way out of the confines of a world of greed and lack, and into a world of prosperous, caring, and committed humanity. This is the reason for the seeming lack but it is developing an awakening to a more evolved society. The old paradigms are dying out and giving way to a new world of conscious awareness. If we don't choose to change, the Earth will do it for us. The point here is we do have a choice. Planetary PredictionsMars has been in Gemini since September 17th 2007. It has finally shifted into Cancer April 28th and will remain till June 22nd. This long haul in Gemini is of course from the retrograde process that occurred between last November and January. Mars retrograde always precedes some major outbreaks of attack. Things are brewing beneath the surface and are about to explode. This can also be seen in the volcanic eruptions increasing around the world. Mars in the sign of Cancer is in its debilitation, meaning it is dysfunctional. Areas ruled by Mars will be troubled. Mars rules real estate and technology. It will cause a lag time in technological developments and cause setbacks in the already problematic housing markets.May 2008 Moon Chart
May 3rd, Rahu conjuncts Neptune intensifying the polarity of religious fundamentalism verses spiritual beliefs. This indicates the extremes in fanaticism. Neptune is drugs and Rahu is poisons. This combination can be very lethal when it comes to terrorism. Since Mars is in Cancer and for the next 18 months with Ketu, I anticipate some poisons being dumped into the water supply. This may be intentional. I am very concerned about the planetary configurations about to be formed in November with Uranus opposed Saturn. I have extensive information already written on this. I will reveal it in future newsletters as we draw closer to that time frame. Here is a warning: The last time Saturn and Uranus opposed in the signs of Aquarius and Leo was in 1918. This was the time of one of the most devastating flu epidemics of all time. The 1918 influenza pandemic infected nearly one quarter of the world's population and resulted in the deaths of 100 million people. Now that I have your attention, remember we can shift the destiny of this planet by becoming more aware and conscious. Do not buy into the mass consciousness of fear and ignorance. Also this is the time of the presidential elections so that may give you an idea of how chaotic it will be. Expect the unexpected! I will reveal more on this next month. There is a very real threat of assassinations and mass destruction. I will be speaking on this and much more not revealed yet here in Denver, Colorado May 19th where I will be giving my lecture at UAC (United Astrological Conference). The most important astrological event this month is the change of signs for Rahu/Ketu from Aquarius/Leo to Capricorn/Cancer, which occurs on May 5th. Those who have planets in Cancer or Capricorn will begin to experience radical changes in their lives. As Ketu enters the sign of Cancer there will be a huge relief in business matters. Ketu and Saturn have been in Leo since last August producing a major depression in businesses. The most difficult time occurred last August when Ketu entered the nakshatra Magha which is ruled by Ketu. Saturn, because of its retrograde cycle, has stayed most of the time in the same sector of early Leo, which is also in the nakshatra of Ketu (Magha). So with both Saturn and Ketu in the nakshatra Magha ruled by Ketu, it is no wonder the economy is in a horrific downward spiral! Saturn is currently stationing before it turns direct May 2nd. This has caused the stifling of many businesses globally. This has been a really depressing time for many. It seems nothing will change and fear is rampant in all areas of the world. The good news is, once Saturn starts to move in forward motion things will steadily improve from this dire state. Also the fact that Ketu has just shifted out from the same sign as Saturn means that there will be a steady improvement. On July 28th Saturn shifts into the nakshatra Purva Phalguni, which is ruled by Venus. After that there will be much improvement in the failing economy. Currently Mars is aspecting Neptune by its 8th aspect causing the oil crises. Neptune rules oil and Mars' aspect to Neptune always escalates the cost of oil. This will be a problem for a while at least till June 22 when Mars will oppose Neptune causing the oil crisis to reach a peak. It is going to be a long hot summer but I do see a break in all this mania. Respect for the government and religious organizations is dying, and creates a free-for-all attitude in society. This is the mass uncovering of the truth of this world, that large institutions have lost their control over the masses. The current elections for President are paving the way for a better government and laws. This current trend may not be the ultimate regime that changes the world radically but it is improving and laying the foundation for the next generations to come. I believe the next two election periods following this one will be monumental. May 26th Mercury and Neptune turn retrograde and Rahu is conjuncted with Mercury. International trade laws and conditions promote more borders opening and more money spent. The world economy will shift and the American dollar will slowly increase in value. This month will have many controversial shifts and changes from an opposite direction. The shifts are eliminating that which is not growth and producing a much higher evolved humanity. Change involves chaos and disruption, but the ultimate result will be positive and necessary. We are all evolving out of ignorance into awareness. Spiritual InsightsChange isn't easy! We are all creatures of habit. But there are times we know we really do not have a choice. Again, relentlessly we hang on to that with which we are comfortable, for the fear of the unknown is sometimes paralyzing. In the midst of change we will become paralyzed and wait until the bottom drops out. We have been known to sabotage many situations that we don't have the courage to change. We must realize consciously what we are doing. We must change because there is something better beyond the limiting circumstances to which we are prisoners. Know that the only thing we came here for is to grow in body, mind and spirit. Disease comes upon us due to our stifling conditions. Growth is necessary and cannot be avoided. Now is the time for us to recognize we have to change, for we have all outgrown our limiting lives and society. Know that there is a definite period of chaos, but once the dust has settled we will feel the freedom of a more open and expanded reality here on earth. Feel the fear and go through the darkness to come to the light of a better life.

To feel the fear and move through it anyway is called courage. A way to uncover the truth is to look at the things you fear the most, such as fear of losing your security. Next, analyze what your sense of security is based on. Consider things you wish upon others, good and bad. Analyze the negative faults in others that bothers you the most. These will be conditions or issues that are the keys to uncovering your truth. If you have wished judgment, harm, retribution, and punishment for others, you will experience it in some way for yourself. When you put out this energy, it will boomerang back to you. 
The Greek myth of Hercules and the hydra is symbolic of the issue of denying our fears. Hercules was sent to kill this very frightening monster that threatened the people. The hydra is a terrifying monster with many swaying long dragon heads. Each time Hercules cut off a head with his sword, many more immediately grew back in its place. It wasn't till he got down on his knees and brought the hydra to the light that the creature began to dissolve and disappear. This is symbolic that our fears will multiply (as the heads grew back) if we deny them, but when we surrender (being brought to our knees) and bring them to the surface or to the light (conscious awareness), then they will disappear, dissolve, and not afflict us anymore.
