Spiritual Insights Each year in the month of November I sit down and write my predictions for each month of the New Year. I also write the predictions for each sign for each month. This is a grueling project but it is worth the effort because as I look at each personal individual chart I read for my clients I know exactly where the planets fall for each month, and understand how the planetary energy will affect each and every client for their future predictions. I encourage all of my students to do this. I know where the planets are for each month of the year so that I can plug them into each client’s chart I look at. The reason I am bringing this up is because I am looking at the predictions here I wrote over a year ago for the month of November 2008. Not knowing who the democratic nominee would be, this prediction looks to be insinuating the election of Obama. After reading my own previous predictions for November 2008, I am in awe and reverence once again of the power of Astrology. I have tirelessly been studying the charts of the Presidential nominees and indicated I believed McCain’s chart shows he has a small edge in winning the election over Obama. I know the race will be extremely close and the results will be surprising. “If” we even have any results at all on election day with all the calamity. Now I am told the chart I have been using for McCain is incorrect and the real birth time has surfaced in a new birth certificate. I do not know if this is real or a hoax. The new surfaced birth certificate gives 6:25 pm as the time of birth. This of course changes the chart completely. If this new chart is correct McCain will not win. It has his dasha ruler Mercury in the 8th house in its own sign. So it is the ruler of the 8th in the 8th house. This is the house of disgrace and endings. The birth time is imperative in giving an accurate reading for the time sets up the entire chart. I want to emphasize the importance of knowing the birth time for an accurate reading. I feel the original chart I used seems more like John McCain because in the 12th house he has the Sun ruler of the 12th in the 12th house, which represents his time spent in prison. In the new chart he has the Moon in the 12th house which could argue the prison stay since the 12th house represents prison. Venus and Mercury in Virgo the 8th house represents extreme wealth from the partner. The 8th house is the 2nd from the 7th meaning your partner’s money. So I can see the validity for this new chart, but it just doesn’t feel right. Time will tell which chart is correct. Aside from the right or wrong birth time I want to share some very specific omens that have been given to me over the past few months. Those that know me, understand much of the information given to me comes through omens the Universe communicates to me. Most of us receive this information but are totally unaware of it. To be a humble servant of the Divine I open to, and receive this knowledge and wisdom whether it is for personal clients, for myself or for the world. Let me share what I have received. Messages this year have been coming through loud and clear that the next few years will very reminiscent of the 1960’s. It came to me to compare the chart of Barack Obama to the charts of Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King for my presentation at the United Astrological Conference (UAC) in May. I have specifically been guided to tell everyone that if Barack Obama is elected President there is a very strong possibility that he would be assassinated. This would explain my psychic voice telling me get ready for the return of the 1960s. When I think of the 60’s I think of a revolutionary time for the masses, social uprisings, racial tension, hatred of the government, and many assassinations. One good thing that came out of the 60’s was the amazing music of a time that was so passionately turbulent. I believe this is a new dawning and wakening now, just as in the 60’s, and you will see much good come out of this time of mass hysteria. This will be a REPEAT of the 1960’s. After a dinner presentation at my restaurant (Patry’s Bistro) in June, I once again predicted the threat of an assassination of Obama based on his individual chart. My concern is that on the fated day of elections Ketu will be exactly conjunct Obama’s Sun. My personal experience with Ketu is it indicates death or endings. So my prediction was, that this may mean he will lose the election or far worse if he wins he will be assassinated. When I returned home after that evening my son Preston presented me with a magazine he was laughing at. He was laughing at all the advertisements in it because there were only for cigarettes and alcohol. I thought it was odd since I haven’t seen a cigarette ad in many, many years. I turned over to the cover of the magazine and it had Bobby Kennedy running for President. The date on the cover of the magazine was March 1968. Immediately I realized this was the month and year Martin Luther King was assassinated and three months later Bobby Kennedy was assassinated. I knew this specifically because I just did my class at UAC on these people and dates. I knew this was truly significant and was confirming my prediction. I had absolutely no idea where this magazine came from and after that evening, I can’t find it. I have had a number of these specific omens occur in the past in my life. They are always specific and true. They involve the appearance of material things that I believe are moved around and presented to me. Spirits, or a force beyond this world move these things. Another specific omen occurred last month. I have always loved the rock opera “Tommy” by “The Who”. I feel the symbology is extremely deep and profound. It was so glitzy that most over looked the profound message. I was so moved by the movie that I wrote about it in my book “Awaken to the Truth”. And as an aspiring old hippie at heart, I absolutely love the old rock and roll of “The Who,” “My Generation”! I write about the myths of our time in my soon to be released book citing “The Wizard of Oz” and “Tommy.” My sons have watched “Tommy” with me repeatedly and my son Christian noted it was being performed at the local Dallas Theater Center. He immediately bought me front row tickets! I was so excited to have front row tickets where the music from “Tommy” would be played live. Interestingly enough, not too many in the audience had my zeal for the production. But it was what was about to be played out that helped me understand the message the Universe was presenting to me. Just to sum it up the storyline of "Tommy;" it was about a small child who saw something he should not have seen. The parents shook him saying, “You didn’t see it, you didn’t hear it, you won’t say nothing, because it will seem absurd without any proof.” From that day on the child became deaf, dumb and blind. This is symbolic of the conditioning the parents instill in a child. Because Tommy only lived within himself unaffected by the outside world he became connected to the Divine spirit within. He was able to master amazing feats beyond this world using his sixth sense, as he became a pinball wizard beating everyone even though he could neither see nor hear. The parents tried everything in the outside world to heal him, without luck. They knew deep within they were the cause of this problem but couldn’t confess to it. The one thing Tommy was fascinated with was his own reflection in the mirror. He couldn’t see anything else but himself. This is symbolic as to seeing the spirit within, that which we perceive in meditation, our Divine connection to God. Finally one day Tommy falls into the mirror and “Awakens.” This is what is portrayed in the song “I’m Free.” From this day on he is seen as the “Enlightened Messiah.” Everyone wants to follow Tommy and be his disciple so they may find their own enlightenment. Unfortunately they are not enlightened, and they turn on Tommy. In the end they kill Tommy just as had happened to Christ. Okay, here is the really interesting omen in this particular local play presentation. In the movie “Tommy,” the lead character is played by Roger Daltrey. He had long blond curly hair and steel blue eyes. Tommy’s parents were played by Ann Margret and Oliver Reed. In the play I saw in Dallas, the parents were white but the actor portraying the boy, and the man once Tommy grew up, were both black. I thought the casting here was very odd. The parents are white, but the boy is black. Why would they cast the play this way? Then I realized the significance! The Universe was telling me, and everyone in the audience this is the story of Obama. I wonder how many understood this? I guarantee my son and I were the only ones, because people don’t see the omens being presented to them on a daily basis. The story is of the new messiah, and he is black, who comes to save us and when he doesn’t succeed the people kill him. I believe America is looking to Obama to save this country from all the ruin they perceive the last presidential regime has inflicted on them. It is all about us looking to someone outside ourselves to heal our own world. And it is always someone else’s fault for the conditions in this world. As is so clearly symbolized in the movie “Tommy” we must look within ourselves to find enlightenment, and we cannot look outsides ourselves to be saved. No one can do it for us. We must take the responsibility to heal ourselves, and ultimately the world. This message is loud and clear for me especially as I see the world playing out this play as a reflection of our own issues. The person elected as President will be a reflection of the mass consciousness. It will play out as it has in history to teach us exactly what we came here to learn. Yes, I do believe this is one of the most important times in history. We are part of a “new awakening.” This is the most exciting and eventful time in history to be alive. Also, expect some of the best music to come out of this passionately emotional time, just as it did in the 1960's. Planetary PredictionsFrom October 21st when the Moon enters Cancer and conjuncts Ketu, until November 5th when the Moon is in Capricorn, there will be Kala Sarpa yoga in effect. This creates irrational thinking and social uprisings. This will be a very turbulent time in history. Everything will seem out of control. This is a dangerous time. With all the focus on the elections, some very unexpected events are brewing under the surface. Our attention is not where it should be. Expect the unexpected!.  Click to enlarge. November 1st Neptune will turn direct. This will bring things into focus that have been unclear for so long. It will be shocking to see the true reality of things from this point on. November 4th, Mars aspects Neptune causing misunderstandings and misrepresentation of information, or false promises. Unbelievable that on November 4th, two MAJOR aspects will occur and this would just happen to be election day. The aspects I am referring to are Saturn opposing Uranus and Mars square Neptune. Brace yourself for nothing will go as predicted. There will be disillusionment, social uprising and deception. A turn of events will wake a sleeping nation. Nothing will be the same from this day forward. This is the event we have been building toward - a nation totally polarized and divided by an election. This is a clear example of the polarity or duality of this world. How can so many be so extreme with their views? The anger and righteousness on each political side scares me! This will only breed mass riots and social unrest instead of the healing of a nation that so desperately needs healing. Personally I can see good in each political candidate and I agree on certain topics with each political candidate. The sad thing is, people are looking to the Present to lead us out of the bad situations our nation is in. No human can do this! Once the reality sets in that the problems of our nation cannot be healed by one man, then the blame will once again be focused upon the President. We should instead be considering what each of us as an individual can do to improve our world. I do believe this will be the beginning of a new era of spirituality. I look forward to the awakening this new era will produce. I plan to be on the forefront of these positive changes. Watch as women will come into power in this amazing time. On November 7th Mars will enter Scorpio. Toward the end of this month and early December, Mars will enter into a difficult area of the sky approaching the fixed star Antares. This is the star of military and war. I suspect it will feel like war on this planet. Once again I want to emphasize all of this is not because of who is our President, it is caused by the anger and hostility of the people. Around November 11th Saturn will aspect the Sun and Venus will conjunct Pluto. This indicates some very upsetting and serious events that have a somber nation looking for answers. The Full Moon occurs November 13th. This will bring a realization of the chaotic events into awareness. How we view our world will change and we can never go back to a more ignorant time. We must move on to a different realization. November 21st Jupiter trines Saturn; there seems to be a clear spot on the horizon. There is much needed hope to be realized, and plans to put the economy back on track appear. Stock markets will be on the upswing. This will give peace in a turbulent time. But I believe it is very temporary! November 28th Uranus will turn direct. My experience with stock markets has always been contingent on the aspects of planet Uranus. Watch the aspects to this planet and you will be able to predict the rise and fall of the markets. (Please don’t contact me to predict the stock market for you personally….I don’t do this!) But the fact that Uranus has been opposing Saturn and retrograde has been the cause of the extremes in the market. And the fact that it has been retrograde is one of the reasons for this so called stock market crash. You will see as the next 2 oppositions occur with Uranus and Saturn, the stock market will once again make an erratic turn. These dates are cited in last month’s newsletter. But the good news for now is the direct motion of Uranus will produce rises in the stock market. The chart I feel is important to discuss in this newsletter, is the chart I have been using for the USA. It has been derived by one of my colleagues James Kelleher. I do believe this chart has validity. I have used it throughout timing events in America and it seems to work for me. It proved particularly insightful for September 11th 2001, as transiting Ketu and Mars were exactly on the ascendant on that fateful day. 1776 Birth Chart for the USA
 Click to enlarge.  The most interesting part I want point out here is the recent change of the dashas. The maha dasha for this chart for the United States of America has just shifted into Mars dasha sequence on September 26th 2008. This is huge! We just came out of a 10-year cycle of the Moon. The Mars cycle will last for 7 years. Within this cycle there will be major outbreaks of war and violence.
In December transiting Pluto and Mars will conjoin the ascendant degree. This was the degree Mars and Ketu conjoined on September 11, 2001. As Mars is the dasha lord and transiting Mars and Pluto conjoin the ascendant degree in this chart you will see major transformations occur that affect our nation forever! Pluto will pass over this degree mark repeatedly this year. It is a year of extreme transformations. Pluto is the god of death so these events will transform and change, or take lives. Watch when Mars will oppose natal Sun on January 18, 2009, a few days before inauguration day. There is danger for a world leader in our country. The Sun represents leaders and transiting Mars in opposition to this planet in this chart is dangerous. Transiting Jupiter will be with Rahu in the 2nd house of this chart indicating a change in the economy for our nation. Actually since Jupiter will be debilitated in the sign of Capricorn and with Rahu, it is very weak and is trying to overcome the damage done. Jupiter will shift into Capricorn around December 9th, when it will conjoin Rahu. The last time Jupiter conjoined Rahu was in 2001. From February 23, 2009 to March 13, 2010 we will be in Mars/Rahu. This is extremely volatile since Rahu is in the 8th house, and close to this time transiting Rahu will be conjoining Ketu in the 2nd house of this chart. For those of you who do not know astrology, believe me this is a huge event in the making. For those of you who do know astrology, I know you will agree of the magnitude of this event! Expect giant changes in the economy and loss of lives.
