My entire life I have been searching for the meaning of life and to answer to the age old question of “Why are we here”? This was something I constantly thought about even as a child. What really amazed me was when I asked others if they ever thought of this they usually said “NO”. How can you not wonder why we are here? I was drawn to anything concerning the magical, mystical or miraculous. My monthly “Spiritual Insights” are my life experiences of the search for the miraculous. I traveled the world to seek the metaphysical, journeys to the Philippines to see the psychic surgeons, shamans, mediums, psychics, hypnosis, healing, Eastern philosophy, astrological conferences, dreams and omens are some of the future topics to be covered in this section “Spiriual Insights”. My book “Awaken to the Power within You” which I plan to release as an e-book is actually an accumulation of all of my realizations throughout my spiritual journey.

The main journey that has given me my sense of the mystical and gave me a connection to miracles and the Divine on a daily bases is definitely astrology. Astrology gives me a sense of the Divine workings through the physical manifestation of this world.

I have been practicing Astrology since the 1970’s where we had to calculate the charts ourselves, before computers. I always felt astrology was going to unlock some mystical magic that would give me the answers to life and humanity. In actuality it did! For when I could see specific things before they happened I felt the magic for this was a tool that operated without any real explanation of how this could be happening. That is magic to me! Or is it the power of a spiritual source that we could tap into with the science of astrology? To be able to make predictions before they happened gave me my proof of a spiritual force that works through all living things. Astrology gave me a sense of the power of something much bigger than me.  It was my spiritual search that led me to astrology, and eventually to Vedic astrology.

 

In the 1970’s I was drawn to a book called the Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda, which opened my mind to even more spiritual thought and philosophy. In this remarkable book it stated that Yogananda’s guru was an Astrologer in India, and this astrology was different from the astrology I was taught here in the West. I didn’t know where to find information on this, so I just set it aside, but this astrology from India keep surfacing through many other sources. I was told these astrologers could tell you things no other astrologer could. This was of great interest to me for my goal was to be “the best astrologer I could be.” I studied many different forms of astrology, but prediction was always my fascination. For prediction gives an element of a spiritual power working in the Universe and to tap into this connects you to this spiritual power.

 

There is a sense and connection of a mystical force working through the Divine Science of Astrology. An astrologer can tell many secrets about an individual that even that individual may not know. It is miraculous to have information before it happens. This is very useful information, for we do have the free will to change things before they happen. Of course no astrologer can be 100% accurate because with any predictive tool there is the blessing of free will. Yes, I do believe firmly in free will. So to know our chart and the predicted tendencies you can have the ability to navigate life to your highest good.

 

To understand our mission in life and our spiritual purpose is my favorite part of a personal consultation, but I discovered most people don’t care about these things. The most commonly asked questions are first about “Money” and secondly “Relationships”. To focus on someone’s spiritual development would kill my business, and clients who want to know these things usually don’t have the money for a reading. So I have to give them what they want, but hopefully I can activate a small seed about the deeper quest that is beneath the surface of every soul. I think the mass population is actually afraid of spiritual truth. Their entire life they were brain washed about spirituality and religions. They are taught to fear God. Sad that the source of all life is to be feared, no wonder this world is so scary and full of fear.

While writing my new book How to Make Money using Astrology an incredible realization occurred to me. It was as though I began to channel the exact information I needed to have to really create the money I need to live a life of freedom. I began to research the many ways astrology was used to make money. Most of the areas I researched were of no interest to me what so ever. But as I researched all the methods used in various ways I actually stumbled onto a formula that can predict which team will win in a sporting event. The funny thing is I don’t even like sports. Yes, I have 3 sons and a husband who love sports. And when we all get together a major part of the conversation has to do with the current sports plays and teams. I felt totally left out of most conversations. For no one in my family ever wanted to talk about the transiting planets or how astrology can indicate our spiritual path or growth. That would bore them probably as much as their conversation on sports bored me.

I look at the stadiums on TV and wonder how they fill every single seat there. And my astrology classes have only 10 seats filled. I believe one day in the distant future Foot Ball games will be compared to the Romans watching the slaves fight the lions in the Roman coliseum. It just seems so barbaric. The players ram into to each other with such force that ultimately they are carried off the field in stretchers.   The ultimate results of those who have played professional ball are severe injuries that debilitate them for the rest of their life.

I then ask myself, how is it that so many people are so passionate and obsessed with sports that people yell and scream at the top of their lungs watching these games. How is it that people become so attached to these teams and games? I seriously pondered this question over and over in my mind.

I have spent much of my time observing sports with my 3 sons who were involved in every sports team there is, from, football, soccer, basketball, baseball, and la cross. I was never really interested but wanted my sons to know I was there to support them. But what I noticed that bothered me was the fact that even though there was one team who won there was another team who lost, which mean that one person’s glory and happiness meant there was another person that lost and felt sad, and disappointed. They may say that they are just playing a game, but the hurt feelings of the losers cannot be denied. This really bothered me that to win meant someone would lose. The egos of the winners as they shake their fists, flags, banners and colors, against the losers who walk away with heads held down and disappointed.

As I struggle to understand this phenomenon, I have come to realize what the core issue concerns, which is the issue of unity, for it is the duality of life that creates the basis of what all of this is about. The 2 opposing teams represent the duality of opposites competing. And the fact that there is only one winner represents separation. For we separate ourselves by believing there is one winner.

I find it interesting that Mars the planet of war is the planet that rules sports in astrology, and the teams are represented by the house of enemies to find the winners.

With great contemplation I found the reason people want to associate themselves to teams originates from a sense that we need to feel a part of something. We all need to feel connected. This is what cures our feeling of separation. A team represents our Unity to a cause or a connection to a part of us that gives us pride. And when we share this passion and emotion of the same thing we feel a connection with others that share our commonality. 

It begins with our mother, then to the father and our heritage which gives pride, and then siblings, our friends, and this branches off into our schools, communities, states and counties. Everyone needs to feel a connection to others in some way. If people do not have connections to others they will search and find it in religions, cults and gangs. The need to connect is essential to our existence. This is the essence of Unity verses Separation, for I believe Unity is our natural state of being and we are always seeking this sense of Unity. For here on Earth as we incarnate into our bodies we feel the unnatural state of separation from all that is and the God Source. It is my belief that the association to teams is a search for Unity and togetherness. And this is why we have such fanatical responses to those who want to find a connection in the way of teams for these teams represent a part of themselves united with others.

Then I think, all those hundreds of thousands of people in those huge stadiums could be my clients if I somehow combined astrology with sports.

It is my wish that the science of astrology may receive the respect it deserves. This could happen with the accuracy I am getting with the astrological formula I have devised. This entire process was revealed to me as I worked on the different principles in this book. The answers are in my new book How to Make Money Using Astrology. I actually took out the chapter on How to Predict the Wins in Sporting Events for I didn’t want it to be exploited. The secrets of the ancient seers have been handed down in the ancient texts. The secrets are in my new book “How to Make Money Using Astrology”.

But for now I have been given this gift to prove that astrology is real and with this Divine understanding of the cyclic processes of the planets one can understand the outcome of any event. Astrology is a science that involves numbers or vibrations, physics and geometry plus the symbology of mythology. It is a science and an art. It involves both the left and right hemispheres of the brain. It is a lost science that reveals the secrets of the Universe. Astrology is the greatest and most ancient science in the Universe, and those who disclaim it have never studied it. It amazes me how many people have such strong opinions about astrology when they have never studied it or even know what it is. The reason for this is not everyone is to learn the Secrets of the Universe.

I find it fascinating that in the most ancient scriptures of India the “Vedas” astrology is called the “Eyes of the Vedas” which denotes it gives vision into the darkness of this world.

But with the winning combination of money and sports I guarantee I can spark a new interest into the study of this Divine Mystical Science of Astrology!
