The relevant issue concerning our planet and lives currently pertains to Mars, which has been traveling alongside the Sun since last December 2010 and will continue till May of 2011. Mars is the planet of war, anger, ambition and courage. Issues of anger plague our world and our life. Anger is a natural emotion which can direct us as to what we need to heal in our world and own lives.

Even though the mass confusion and rebellion looks like war and destruction, it is actually a healing for the many problems that plague our planet. Destruction is sometimes necessary to create a better world. The Civil war in America in which the people who came to this country for freedom still had to fight for their rights, and this bloody war killed more people historically in a single day, which was September 17, 1862 in Antietam, Maryland. About 23,000 lost the lives and 16,000 were wounded. In a world of duality there cannot be total peace for the lessons we are here to learn pertain to finding balance. As the planets line up in Pisces they will oppose Saturn, and oppositions are always about bringing into balance that which has gotten out of balance. This is a very intense time on planet Earth and what appears as mass destruction is actually a cleansing and balancing.

The world is growing and expanding. The old worn out ideals are not working for the next generation who feel they must rebel against the generations of the past. This rebellion taking place currently is a natural process that has occurred throughout mankind and is reflected in the Greek myth of Cronous and his father Ouranos. Ouranos the sky god was married to Gaia goddess of the Earth, Ouranos imprisoned his children in the body of Gaia, as for punishment Gaia asked her son Cronous to castrate his father. He followed through with the plan and overtook his father’s role as the ruler but an oracle told him he would be overthrown by one of his children, therefore Cronous devoured all of his children but his wife Rhea disguised the youngest baby as a rock with baby clothing and secretly raised this child who was Zeus and he eventually did overthrow his father Cronous. I am referring to this myth because what is happening in the world right now does pertain to the rise and fall of the older generations making way for the youth and the progressive new ways of the future. The planets actually being aspected closely throughout this last year and currently are Saturn (Cronous), opposed Jupiter (Zeus) and Uranus (Ouranos). This indicates that the powers and leaders of our world are being overthrown by the new ways and ideas of the next generation.

The Sun represents the leaders and the spirit of the current times, and Mars represents action courage, force and war. This is why there has been such a social uprising pertaining to the world’s leaders and rights concerning freedom with Mars traveling conjunct the Sun.

It is a radical time for issues concerning anger because Mars is so prominent during these times. And as Mars will begin to slow down to turn retrograde (next November 2011) it will be in Leo opposing Neptune indicating more turbulence concerning war and problems around the oil crisis. As I predicted oil and gas prices are on the rise and I believe it will be the most extreme next summer, and for 8 months to follow. This will disturb the world economy but most of all it will cause problems for the countries dependant on oil This means an all out war and trouble in the Middle East.

I took the liberty to look at the chart of Muammar Gaddafi the leader of Libya. He is a dictator who is slaughtering his own people to remain in power. I have rectified his chart which indicates he will be overthrown, imprisoned or killed. Transiting Ketu is directly on his Jupiter at 6 degrees of Gemini and when transiting Mars will aspect this point he will be overthrown, Mars will be at 6 degrees of Pisces around March 31 - April 2. In case you don’t know the past history of Gaddafi, he was the instigator of the 1988 Pan Am Airliner crash in Lockerbie Scotland killing around 272 people. In retaliation President Ronald Reagan bombed his country killing Gaddafi’s daughter. I am sure Gaddafi has been festering his angers at the USA since this time. With this personal hurt he will not stop at anything to get back at his foreseen enemies.

The anger in this world at this time has motivated us to address and retaliate where we feel there has been hurt and injustice. Mars is the planet that gives courage. It is time to go within and understand and face our anger because until we own up to our anger we will allow this poisonous energy to fester and grow within our bodies resulting in unconscious behaviors that destroy our future to a happy and peaceful life. This as a result will manifest in diseases that will eventually eat away at our bodies such as cancer. Anger is an emotion that gives us energy to finally address our fears. We may stay mad at someone or something but until we get it out and look at it, it will continue to grow and it usually becomes misdirected towards others. Anger is dangerous when not addressed but powerful if used to take a look at ourselves in terms of what we need to heal in ourselves. If we are able to recognize and surrender to the injustices we feel have plagued us we will have a healing that can truly transform our lives. This is one of the most significant things we are here learn, for we are here to understand, and heal our conditions as a human race and these conditions are a part of all of us for we are in essence one.

Another indication for healing during this time is the New Moon this month is with Mars but all these planets, Sun, Moon and Mars are in the Nakshatra Shatabhishak which is the nakshatra referred to as the hundred healers, and pertains to healing disease that is hard to cure. Varuna as the deity of Shatabhishak pours the waters of life that healed all illnesses and gave immortality. In western astrology he is the water bearer for this nakshatra is within the sign of Aquarius. He was the divine healer of Maya and illusion. To heal the illusion of this world is the ultimate realization.

In understanding anger I feel it is important to look to the energy center that anger is associated with in our body. In Vedic philosophy the energy centers of our bodies are the chakras which are places in our bodies connected to the glandular systems. This charka or energy system is tied into our solar system in which each chakra is related to each of the planets within our solar system. The base chakra or root is associated with Saturn, the reproductive system is Jupiter, and the solar plexus which some associate with the Sun is related to Mars, for this system follows the alignment of the planets from the farthest out that are visible to the naked eye. The outer planets relate to the collective unconscious not our personal affairs. As to the solar plexus, this is where we feel the greatest emotion. It is where we feel sadness and sorrow. It feels like someone has punched us in the stomach when we are told of the loss of a loved one. It is where we feel anger and hostility. This is the place where we get our gut feelings that are in tune with the Divine. This is our energy source and if we are not in touch with this part of who we are, we get depressed and lose our ambition to live and be of purpose in this world. It is associated with the endocrine gland which is connected to the liver, pancreas, and the gall bladder. This area affects the adrenal glands which is what gives us our drive and momentum especially when in fear and need the added force to survive. This is all about Mars energy and is a necessity for our lives.

In Chinese medicine the liver is associated with anger and to heal we must address our anger. There are various ways to address our anger. Some get involved with sports and burn off the excess energy which helps with our issues of anger, but I believe healing anger comes with understanding why you are angry. It is through understanding what exactly you are angry about, the root cause and then to understand what parts of this anger you can change by becoming proactive in a positive way that can change your circumstances and conditions. The most important thing that must be realized through this understanding is that it is useless to get angry about things you cannot change. Basically, this means the aspects of yourself and your conditions that you have the ability to change. You must direct your Mars energy in this positive way to change yourself, and the things you cannot change which is usually others, you must realize anger spent on trying to change others is futile and can destroy ourselves if we keep these angry resentments. This understanding and realization can free us to direct our courageous ambitious energy to positive change and transformation healing the issues we came to here to understand and grow as a soul through this lifetime.

Anger is one of the most powerful tools we have to recognize where we need to heal. When you get angry take note of what it feels like and why it disturbs you so much, and you will see the exact issue that needs healing. Once we heal from these powerful places of injustice we will experience a freedom we never felt possible because remember anger begins where we feel oppressed and our freedom is taken and this reveals an awareness of how we are oppressing ourselves. This frees us from injustices, oppression, and disease. This is all about understanding ourselves and this is in essence all about healing the human condition. As to my personal experiences with healing I have included a section from my book "Awaken to the Power within You".

At an astrological convention in 1984, I found out about a healer that had healed the incurable of fatal diseases. She was called a psychic surgeon and lived in the Philippines. I asked for all the details and made plans to make this spiritual pilgrimage for a miraculous healing. It was a journey of faith, for we had no way of knowing we would even find her across the world. I was told to fly into Manila and from there, go to Quezon City about 30 miles from Manila. I was to go to the Zulu hotel, and the cashier named Josephina at the coffee shop would know how I could find Sister Josephina, the healer. I followed through with the plan, and as expected, the cashier was there and made arrangements for her son to take us to see Sister Josephina. The next morning, her son was there in a jeep to take us there. I had no idea where we were going, and if I wasn’t sick before, I should be by the time we arrived. There were no real roads to where we were going. Our heads were bouncing off the ceiling of the jeep as we traveled through the Philippine jungle. We arrived to a small chapel with dirt floors, no electricity, or phones, and lizards crawling on the walls. There she was, Sister Josephina, working on people lying on a table at the front of a small chapel, with a large sign hanging, which said "God is the Healer". There were people from all over the world that came for her healing. She only took donations for the healings. I wasn’t mentally prepared for what I was about to witness.

My mother went first. She proceeded to bring out a long list of all the ailments she had come all the way across the world to have healed. As she read off this long list, Sister Josephina gently smiled and patiently listened. She didn’t need to hear this list, for she already knew what she needed. Sister Josephina explained that the skin is like the surface of water and she was going to reach through this surface and remove the problems or tissues that are causing the disease. While on the table, she reached her hand into my mother’s neck and pulled out what looked like a long string of black beads. She tossed them in a bucket. She allowed me to stand next to her and observe the process, even take pictures. I actually peered into the inside of the tissue of my mother’s neck as she worked. I almost passed out, not knowing how the tissue would heal back. But her neck closed back up as Sister Josephina explained, like the surface of water. Then she went on through her entire body, pulling out other pieces of tissue and tossing them in the bucket.

My mother exclaimed, "Sister Josephina, you are so miraculous."

She said, "No, God is miraculous." Wiping her hands of the blood, she then went on to the same process on my father, concentrating on his legs.

Then it was my turn. I was nervous and didn’t know what I had wrong with me, so I told her to check me out. As she put her hands on my stomach, she broke into a very sweet smile, like she sensed something. She asked, "Are you married"?

I replied, "Yes."

She asked, "Do you have any children?"

To which my reply was, "No." Then she went on to work on other parts of my body. I wondered with the way she acted. Could I be pregnant? No, that’s not possible, I thought. But sure enough; once I returned from the trip, I found out I was about two weeks pregnant at the time I was there.

After the healing, we were given very strict instructions to be followed afterwards. We weren’t to eat meat, drink alcohol, exercise, or have sex, but the worst thing was no bathing for three days, for this would disturb the healing energy. Three days traveling in the jungle of the Philippines without a bath or shower was miserable. Meanwhile, my mother and father were feeling amazingly different. I definitely felt a powerful energy, making a transformation within me that is totally indescribable. I slept a lot with very vivid dreams. My father’s legs became bright red with a healthy glow, where before his legs were purple due to lack of circulation. He said he felt like dancing! My mother felt energized, and upon her return, she had her arteries checked out, and was given the diagnosis that they were clear. They were overjoyed with the prognosis of being healed. Only I was haunted by Sister Josephina’s stern warning, "Remember, if you don’t work on the habits and issues that have caused this disease, it will return." My parents, particularly my mother, were always looking for a magic bullet. She wasn’t about to change the habits and negativity that had caused these health problems. It didn’t take long before all the same health problems returned. Sister Josephina was aware of the effect our emotions and mind have on our physical body.

Well, they just figured they could keep going back to get a tune up whenever the problems returned. It seemed the thing to do. So about ten years later, when they were ready to return for their tune up, we found out Sister Josephina was murdered. We felt like we lost our magic bullet and a saint on Earth. But we were told there were other psychic surgeons there. They returned without me, going to more than one of these psychic surgeons. They pulled out stuff and wiped the blood, but there was no healing. Come to find out they were fakes, and were substituting chicken livers and blood to pretend they were doing the work that Sister Josephina authenticated. I have since heard many of the psychic surgeons were phonies. Yes, they are right, I have seen many phonies but I did see the real thing. I do know we have the power to heal ourselves, but we haven’t come into our own awareness of our true power. To be around someone who is in touch with this awareness is an experience I will never forget, and has changed the way I view the world with true faith of the power within our Universe.

My mother also met with Sister Josephina but unfortunately was so distracted by the third world discomfort she could not open to the miracles.
