The planets are each represented by either a precious or a semi-precious gemstone.
Each day of the week is ruled by a planet. You should begin wearing the stone on the day of the week that the Planet rules. Some believe it is great to honor the planets by wearing the color of the planets on the day it rules.
- Sun - Red - Ruby (Sunday): The Sun gives confidence, self esteem, physical health, power, and leadership qualities.
- Moon - Silvery White - Pearls (Monday): The Moon gives clarity with feelings, emotions, security, and peace of mind.
- Mercury - Green - Emerald (Wednesday): Mercury gives communication skills, mental clarity, learning, teaching, and writing abilities.
- Venus - Clear White - Diamond (Friday): Venus rules love, romance relationships, and marriage.
- Mars - Red - Red Coral (Tuesday): Mars rules passion, blood, energy, life force, and anger.
- Jupiter - Yellow - Yellow Sapphire (Thursday): Jupiter rules wealth and money so is the most popular stone given now. But it also rules wisdom and spirituality.
- Saturn - Blue - Blue Sapphire (Saturday): Saturn rules discipline, focus, balance, reality, and organization.
