Charlie Sheen is a victim of the curse of fame and fortune when it comes too fast and too early. The first thing I see looking at his chart is his Moon in the 8th house in the nakshatra Mula. This can be one of the most self destructive nakshatras, and in the 8th house this can point to deep hidden psychological issues. Jupiter is opposed his Moon in Gemini in the 2nd house. Jupiter by opposition aspects the 8th house and rules this house of Sagittarius. This means Jupiter adds to the energy of this deep profound psychological house. The most fascinating thing of all is the fact that transiting Ketu currently is directly on his Jupiter (4 degrees of Gemini) and transiting Rahu will soon conjunct his Moon in the 8th house (2 degrees of Sagittarius). Transiting Rahu on the Moon will magnify the psychological patterns in his mind, and in the 8th house it can pull up deep issues that have affected him throughout his life.
His natal Saturn in his 10th house has given him great opportunities for work. Saturn is his yoga karaka planet, meaning it is the best planet for his chart because it rules the 9th and 10th houses for a Taurus rising. But the problem with his work ethic is he has Sun, Uranus and Pluto opposed this Saturn. This will give him his rebellious, stubborn streak. When the Sun aspects Saturn this will usually give have deep inferiority complex. As he displays his overly confident egotistical side, we all know this is a cover up for his deep rooted lack of self esteem. His Saturn in Aquarius is very potent and has given him great opportunities in his field of work, which he got his start from his father, actor Martin Sheen, for Saturn also rules the 9th house of the father. The problem right now is that transiting Mars (planet of anger and disputes) is conjunct this powerful Saturn in his 10th house of career. So it is no surprise he was just fired from his job, in which he was known to be the highest paid actor in a TV sitcom today. Meanwhile, transiting Mars opposing his Sun alludes to a confrontation with his parents (Sun in the 4th house) and the Sun represents his father. I believe they will soon intervene and help him.
Venus is the ruler of his chart since it rules his Taurus ascendant, and it is placed in his 5th house of intelligence and creativity. It is debilitated in the sign of Virgo which can cause problems in his relationships since Venus is the karaka (indicator) of the marriage partner for a man’s chart. Transiting Saturn has been very close to this degree (Venus is 25 degrees of Virgo) and will once again transit over this degree next October 2011. As the 5th house rules children, his children have been taken from him for their protection. Transiting Saturn conjunct his natal Venus will cause a serious awakening because Saturn is wakes us up to reality. The separation from his children and breakup of his marriage forces him to look into the real problem causing this depression and mental anguish.
But the real problem currently concerns his health, mental, emotional and physical. In his 6th house of health stands both Mars and Neptune. Neptune here can denote hard to diagnose diseases. Mars with Neptune can refer to a delusional nature. But, it can also be talent for the camera and film because Neptune rules movies and film work. Mars will depict our anger issues and Charlie is known to have anger issues. He has been explosive and dangerous within his relationships and has denied this on each occasion. Neptune with Mars breeds denial and lack of responsibility to his actions. Some of his violent and unexpected outbursts may be attributed to his Sun, Uranus, and Pluto conjunction, for he seems to explode with rebellion when he cannot be in control of others. Pluto is explosive and represents the need to control, and with Uranus he is rebellious, this explains his sudden and unexpected reactions.
His out of control anger is due to his Mars for it aspects his Rahu in the 1st house (Mars’ full aspect is 8 signs from its position in a chart). As Mars aspects (opposition) and rules his 12th house of secrets and healing. Mars combined with Rahu is intense anger which has been the root of all his problems. Rahu and Ketu deal with addictions and compulsive obsessive behavior. And with Rahu on his ascendant he is compelled to be out of control due to his anger. Rahu on the ascendant will denote a life that seems fated and out of your control for the lunar nodes represent our destiny within this lifetime.
Charlie is in the maha dasha of Mars indicating this is the time to address his health issues with Mars in his 6th house. And he will confront and work on his issues of healing throughout this cycle through the year 2014.
Transiting Jupiter will go into his 12th house in Aries this May 2011, and will remain there till May of 2012. During this time I predict he will have year of healing and recovery, for the 12th house pertains to letting go of the past and addressing matters to be healed. As transiting Jupiter aspects his Mars by opposition in his 6th house of health and healing he will uncover and heal his anger and past. As Jupiter in the 12th house will trine the other water houses 4 and 8, he will address his issues with his family and mother and father for he has the Sun in the 4th house and his Moon in his 8th house. I expect Charlie to begin a new life as transiting Jupiter will cross over into his 1st house May of 2012, and Jupiter will conjoin transiting Ketu in Taurus, in his 1st house in July of 2012, this will bring him a spiritual awakening. If he wants his life back he will realize he has to do the work to address his intense issues of control and anger. This surrender will bring him the peace and serenity he has been seeking unconsciously through the abuse of drugs. He has nowhere else to look but within himself and Mars will give him the courage to succeed in this journey.
