This is a new section to explain what is being presented to us on a global conscious level and what we can learn about these cases and apply them to our own understanding. This section is a valuable lesson for understanding the principals of Vedic astrology and how it helps us grow spiritually. Of course volumes can be written about each chart, but here I have written about specific things to help understand certain issues in a chart. The cohesive unit and lesson in the discussion of both of these charts is the fact that Saturn is the planet of karma and reality. As you know, we can never escape the truth, and Saturn the planet of truth and consequences will present our lessons for us to face and heal. Saturn takes about 30 years to cycle through the entire zodiac of 12 signs. In each of these charts it was around 30 years ago that the issue occurred and has returned for each individual to face. Saturn will bring the realization of truth that can heal a lifetime if you are willing. Mackenzie PhillipsMackenzie Phillips has revealed in her new memoir "High on Arrival," that she was drugged and raped by her musician father John Phillips of the Mamas and the Papas. Her consensual incestuous affair with him began when she was 19 and it lasted a decade.Although Mackenzie alleges her father is incest, she has a lot of compassion for him. She calls her dad, “ a good man.” She writes in her tell-all-book, "I am sharing my truth in the hope that it helps other incest survivors."  Click the chart to enlarge. Looking at her Chart this is a very peculiar time in her life for transiting Ketu is exactly on her ascendant degree of 3 degrees of Cancer. Ketu is the south node of the Moon and represents Moksha, which means spiritual liberation. It is freeing us from the physical confines of this world. Mackenzie speaks out to free herself of the torment of past secrets that have been causing her to feel disgrace and guilt. It is a known fact, that people with addictions are filling a void where there is a sense of guilt and shame. To alleviate this feeling one must address the cause to heal their core issue. To speak out on such a disgraceful and embarrassing matter is truly courageous and will begin a healing for her as well as others who are affected by the same issue. In Vedic astrology the 9th house represents the father and she has her natal Moon conjunct Ketu in Pisces, both in the nakshatra Uttara Bhadrapada. This nakshatra is deep and profound. The symbol for Uttara Bhadrapada is the “serpent of the deep” representing a profound depth that goes beyond this world. Ketu conjunct the Moon means she is very intuitive and looks deeply for the truth, especially because the 9th house is the house of the truth and spirituality. At this time transiting Pluto is at 6 degrees of Sagittarius squaring the natal Moon, as well as transiting Saturn now in Virgo is aspecting the Moon by opposition. She has come out with this gut-wrenching news that upsets many who are in denial. Pluto’s aspects are totally transformational but incredibly gut-wrenching! As the Moon represents the mother in a chart, her step-mothers are in horror and denial of the accusations. Her half-sister Chynna Phillips says she believes her. Remember her Moon is conjunct Ketu representing unusual relations with the mother and it is about the father since this conjunction takes place in the 9th house of the father. Saturn rules reality and karma, therefore as it transits to the opposition of the Moon we have the reality of the truth revealed. This is an incredibly hard karmic lesson for all involved, but the healing that emerges will transcend the souls involved that want to heal. It will be a very rocky road for Mackenzie through all of this, for many will blame her. Those who bear the truth are usually shot-down by those who are in denial. Transiting Saturn will oppose her Moon and transiting Uranus will conjunct it representing a major blow out and condemnation by others. This occurs November 2009 and again in the March 2010. But in June of 2010 as transiting Jupiter and Uranus conjunct her Moon there will be a healing that will make her suffering well worth the trial. You will see a magnificent healing for Mackenzie who will begin to know and sense her true purpose on earth. I applaud her for her courage and the healing she has brought to herself and others. One interesting note is that the incestuous affair began 30 years ago when she was 19 as Saturn was transiting her natal Moon the last time (Saturn takes 30 years to cycle through the zodiac), so this karmic cycle has come full circle for its healing. Roman PolanskiDirector, Roman Polanski was arrested by Swiss police as he flew in for the Zurich Film Festival and faces possible extradition to the United States. He was being held in provisional detention in preparation for a possible extradition to the United States based on an arrest warrant dating to 1978.Mr. Polanski, 76, was convicted that year in a California court of unlawful sex with a 13-year-old girl whom he had lured to the home of Jack Nicholson and drugged.
