from Joni's book - Awaken to the Truth Visualization for Peace and Unconditional Love The power lies within us; we must draw the energy within and meditate on the heart energy (Chakra) opening. We have been taught that God or the Divine Spirit is outside of ourselves, when, in fact, that essence is within ourselves. We will never find any answers without, only within. When you meditate, bring your focus to your heart center and be one with it. Resist the tendency to bring your attention outside. Breathe into this center and imagine it opening like a beautiful flower. If this exercise is done on a regular basis, you will start to feel the healing power of unconditional love. You will get a sense of the bliss true unconditional love can bring. You are sensing the true essence of God. It is a reality that transcends all time and beliefs. It is your connection to the divine, and all living things that will bring acceptance and compassion, knowing we are all connected as one. You will start to open to peace, and here is where peace on our planet will begin. Remember love is what truly heals. This simple exercise done daily is what can change the world. Meditate on the area of your heart and imagine it as a flame growing in light. Feel the compassion, and you will know the power that is within you. Visualize the heart emanating a pink loving color that warms your body with love. Send this love to yourself, then extend it to everyone you feel needs healing. As we send this energy out to others, it is returned to us, for as we heal others, we are healing ourselves. The heart is the center where the powerful energy of love resides in our body. We know this is where the true essence of God lives within us. The true healer is love. Get out of your head and get into your heart and you will know the truth. |
