There is an unusual amount of back-tracking within this month. There is still so much to be cleaned-up, especially in our government. It feels like we have not gotten anywhere. Uranus and Neptune have retrograded back into the previous signs that originally caused so much grief and frustration. Neptune is in Capricorn and Uranus is in Aquarius. This means there is another opportunity to clear out the unfinished business in our government, clean out the problems unaddressed in the financial markets, as well as to process any unfinished business in our own lives and relationships.

Saturn is conjunct the New Moon this month making it a somber time. There is a serious wave from the past difficulties and the highs and lows from such a tremulous time in history. From September 2nd through the 9th, Saturn will be conjunct President Obama’s natal Mars in the 8th house. This will depict a very hard and dangerous time in his life. I believe once he is past this most dangerous aspect, he is safe from the most perilous aspects we as astrologers dreaded seeing. As noted, throughout the year there were a series of aspects that affected his chart, but this is by far the worse and I consider him home free following this.
