Holistic Science and Integrated Living

August 28-29, 2010

The first conference on Holistic Science and Integrated Living is scheduled to be convened August 28-29, 2010 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.  The conference is being organized by the Vitrag Vignan Charitable Research Foundation (VVCRF) Surat, Gujarat, India and its U.S. Chapter, Holistic Research Center, Oak Ridge.

The Center is open to all faiths and people from all walks of life and stresses the importance and the need for integrating spirituality in our daily living to bring order, harmony, and stress-free living in the competitive society we live in.  The objective of the conference is to bring out the importance of understanding and approaching every branch of knowledge from a Holistic perspective and the Divine-Human relationship that has been emphasized in every Religion, and by the world’s greatest thinkers.

The panel of speakers will include eminent scholars, scientists and professionals well-versed in their respective fields (philosophy, ethics, values, culture, science and commerce).  Presentations from the invited speakers will be followed by panel discussion and a question and answer session at the end of each session.

This class will cover the basics of Vedic astrology. The meaning of the houses, signs, planets and yogas will be covered - everything a beginner to astrology will need to know. This class will open your eyes to the value and purpose of the Vedic system of astrology. Handouts will be provided. Learn how to predict major life events, find your life's purpose, transform your life to reach your highest goals.

Intermediate Vedic Astrology

The Basics of Prediction
Learn the most accurate system of predicting your life cycles. Predictive Vedic astrology charts planetary transits called Dashas. You will learn how to use Dashas in combination with Transits (gochara). The combination of Dashas and Transits is the most powerful tool for prediction. If you have a basic understanding of the nature of planets, signs, and the houses of astrology, this course is for you.

Webinar

Intermediate to Advanced Class Level
This class will focus on applying the techniques of Vedic astrology to "Who's in the News."
This will be a 75-minute class, one night a week for 5 weeks. Each class is independent of the others, so you may attend any number of the 5 classes that you wish.

We will cover current events and people currently in the news. You will read natal charts, learning what is important and the tools and techniques that I know work. In terms of prediction, the dashas and transits will be analyzed. I will reveal the many secrets I have discovered through my many years of experience. Experience speaks louder than theory.

Private Tutoring to Earn ACVA Credits

Would you like to become an ACVA (American Council of Vedic Astrology) certified Vedic astrologer? For each class of private tutoring with ACVA approved tutor, Joni Patry, the student accrues 10 credit hours toward ACVA certification. Private classes are taught in person or by telephone. Joni's book, "Eastern Astrology for Western Minds" is used as the course book for the classes.
