Planetary Predictions and Aspects for March 2011

03/06 Mercury enters Pisces: :  Mercury is the planet of the thinking mind, whereas the Moon is our natural intelligence and the knowing mind, Mercury pertains to how the mind receives and processes information. Therefore, while Mercury is in the sign of Pisces we must make an effort to make information clear because our communications are likely to be misinterpreted. Pisces is the sign of debilitation for Mercury and this means communications are unclear and can be misunderstood. Take the time and effort to make your intentions clear and the usual miscommunications will be avoided. While Mercury is in the sign of Pisces it will be approaching Jupiter and Uranus and all at the same time squaring Rahu and Pluto and opposing Saturn. Our minds are processing so much information with the emotional drama of many feelings that will make most people feel overwhelmed and conflicted. Try to stay grounded during this turbulent time. The world is in a state of flux and transformation. The major transits of Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn, Pluto, Rahu and Ketu are being activated by the faster moving planets this month and April. Uranus the planet of rebellion and change has activated groups around the world who are making a stand for freedom and their rights. This is occurring in the Middle East, Egypt, Libya and even the state of Wisconsin. The fact that the planets are lining up this month in Aquarius will bring healing through the group consciousness of Aquarius and much will be completed when the planets all converge in Pisces the sign of resolution, for Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac.

03/08 Mercury square Rahu, 03/09 Mercury conjunct Uranus: The mind as we process information takes on an obsessive nature with Mercury square Rahu, for this means Mercury is at the midpoint of the nodal axis, Rahu and Ketu. The world will seem obsessed with issues that pertain to rebellion and change for this is the issue that consumes planet Uranus. This will be the time of a revolution around the world. Uranus conjunct Mercury is also about ingenious visions. This is the conjunction of inventions and flashes of genius. In the sign of Pisces this will give new ideas that connect us to space and help us understand the confines of time. There will be some understandings about the Universe that can teach us more about the cosmos and our place in this incredible Universe.

03/10 Ketu trine Neptune: This can be a very spiritual aspect for both these points in a chart represent our spiritual understanding and nature. Much of what we can’t understand will be conveyed to us through sudden insights that come as a feeling instead of a thought that can be understood. This can also depict an attraction to many means of escape from this world. I am referring to drugs and alcohol or even some cults that try to persuade you to isolate from family and friends. This can also represent connections to outer space and life on other planets or even dimensions.

03/13 Mercury square Pluto: This aspect represents the struggle to overcome bad habits or it can represent the struggle to overthrow control and manipulation from others. This can mean the problems pertaining to control from dictators and governments that confine and limit the freedom of their people.

03/14 Sun enters Pisces: As the Sun enters Pisces it is nearing Uranus and Jupiter. This will induce a time where there is more rebellion as the planets are lining up in the sign of Pisces which instigates religious beliefs with a spirit of revolution and change. This early part of Pisces is rich with powerful fixed stars that will flavor this time as a time of dissolution and destruction. The main fixed star activated now is Scheat which as students of astrology we used to memorize this fixed star as "shit" because it was one of the worse fixed stars of all. It is called the weeping degree, for it is about extreme misfortune, murder, suicide, and drowning. Last year Uranus and Jupiter were on this degree and now the Sun, Mars and Mercury will activate this severe marking in the zodiac. I believe this will involve extreme weather and earthquakes as this has already been the case, but this means these events will continue throughout the spring.

03/14 Venus trine Saturn: This is an aspect of working on relationships that have been difficult because of separation and time spent away due to work. This is a time to rebuild and reprioritize our time.

03/15 Mercury conjunct Jupiter: Idealistic attitudes give positive reinforcement for endeavors that have seemed blocked recently, but with the powerful disasters occurring throughout this month and next month there may be a point where idealism can be dangerous, for the changes occurring are not complete and have much more to come in transitions that are to take place.

03/15 Mars aspects Saturn (8th aspect) Quincunx: When Mars aspects Saturn in an 8^{th aspect this indicates loss and death. Angry disputes end in much bloodshed around the world. This will end many ties and relationships among many countries. There will be confusion as to who has allegiance to who in world affairs.}

03/18 Mercury oppose Saturn: Balance is sought out in world affairs but the reality is a depressed economy that is trying to retaliate through denying certain goods such as oil.

03/18 Sun square Rahu: The Sun as leadership globally is at the midpoint of Rahu and Ketu, this is a breaking point for the world to take ownership of the problems created. But the blame is cast in other directions making this a time of confusion without much growth. World leaders are blamed for many of the problems we are now facing.

03/21 Sun conjunct Uranus: The last week in March will be the most turbulent of the month for the planets are converging together to form a blow out of all the building pressures in the world. This is the point of no return for the world is in the midst of a transformation through destruction.

03/22 Venus enters Aquarius: Venus the planet of love is isolated from all the planets of destruction, giving us the opportunity to see our world as an evolving place that will at some time in the future will be a better place to live.

03/25 Mars enters Pisces: This is the time world events will really begin to heat up. This will begin to surface more violence on the sea and with ships, with troublesome storms on the horizon. As Mars nears Uranus and the opposition to Saturn the world will become more violent and turbulent.

03/26 Venus conjunct Neptune: Both planets Neptune and Venus are planets that are known for the mists and apparent storms of gases on their surface. These two planets together are known to create more rain on planet Earth so be prepared to experience extreme rain, floods and storms as these planets converge. In the sign of Aquarius there is a special reference to air which also refers to storms and severe weather particularly tornados.

03/28 Sun square Pluto: The Sun indicates leaders and the square to Pluto can represent the extreme sudden collapse of a government. This may indicate a time when leaders may be exiled or even killed. This is can be a violent time.

03/28 Jupiter oppose Saturn: This is the last and final opposition of Jupiter to Saturn. The conjunctions and oppositions of these two great planets are what determine the economic climate taking place in our evolution. This opposition will cause extreme fluctuations in the stock market. Areas of highs and lows will pertain to food and water with Saturn in Virgo and Jupiter in Pisces, and anything associated to these two areas. The opposition means it is a time to find a balance and heal the problems that were created about 10 years prior when they were conjunct.

03/28 Mercury enters Aries: Mercury will briefly touch Aries but will begin to station to go retrograde two days later where it will revert back into Pisces, its sign of debilitation. While Mercury is retrograde and debilitated there will be many miscommunications and problems arise. It is not a good time to travel or sign contracts. If you must travel expect delays and cancellations. There could be some air mishaps or crashes if extra caution is not taken.

03/29 Mars square Rahu: When Mars is at the midpoint of Rahu and Ketu this will trigger the events that will consume the year. This is a very intense time of rebellion based on anger. The world is going through a crisis and the change will be destructive but necessary.

03/30 Mercury turns retrograde: 00 Aries: This is the day Mercury turns retrograde so don’t plan any new projects but use this time to finish out projects already started.
